Founder, Tending Tilth

Lauren Burns owns and operates Tending Tilth, a contract sheep grazing business serving SW Michigan. With over 12 years of experience, Lauren practices prescribed grazing with her flock with a focus on soil health and regenerative land management. Lauren earned a Biology degree from Western Michigan University. She then gained hands-on experience working as a zookeeper before pursuing shepherding full time.
