Tribal Historic Preservation Officer & NAGPRA Representative, Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians

Mae Wright is a member of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians. She is based in Harbor Springs where she works for her sovereign nation's government as their Tribal Historic Preservation Officer and Native American Graves Protection & Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) Representative. This role carries many responsibilities including advocating at the state, federal, and local level for the preservation of cultural resources significant to her Tribe.
